OVERVIEW

This article covers how users can create a new Supplementary Report case.

Supplementary Reports are for situations where the Booking Company/Case Manager is requesting additional questions or requesting clarifications to a Specialist's completed report.

CREATE A SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT CASE (DIRECT)

  1. Create a new Supplementary Report using any of the following areas:
    • Dashboard -> Book a Service -> Supplementary Report
    • Reporting Services -> Supplementary Report -> Add New Case
  2. Fill in all required information for the new Supplementary Report case and select Create to save.
    • If the Supplementary Report requested is in reference to a Kawaconn service (IME or File Review), you can connect the cases together as a Source in Client Details -> Additional Evidence/Original Report
    • As default, once the Supplementary Report case is created, a confirmation email is sent to the Booking Case Manager (TEMPLATE_85A). If required, you can untick the checkbox in section Booking Confirmation & Paperwork Status
    • Once created, the new case is added to the Supplementary Reports database and given a new and unique Kawaconn Case ID

CONNECT A KAWACONN CASE TO THE SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

If a Supplementary Report is created as a follow-up to an existing Kawaconn case (in IME Assessments or File Reviews), users can reference and connect the original case to the new Supplementary Report case.

  1. Within the Supplementary Report case, go to section Client Details and tick Additional Evidence/Original Report.
  2. Enter the Kawaconn Case ID to Original Case Number and select Check.
  3. If the case ID entered matches an existing case, a warning window appears. If happy, select Confirm to copy documents and case information into the case. Copied Information includes:
    • Assessing Specialist
    • Report Completion Date
    • Attached Final & Amend Report
    • Attached Letter of Instruction
