OVERVIEW
There are 3 different methods that users can use to create an IME Assessment booking. This article covers creating an IME booking through the Session & Specialist Search.
The Specialist Search utilises multiple filters to help users find and choose a suitable specialist to book.
RECOMMENDATION
Using the Session & Specialist Search for bookings is most useful when users are unsure of the specialists available from the provider and would like to compare and find the most suitable one to book.
CREATE AN IME BOOKING WITH THE SPECIALIST SEARCH
- Access the Specialist Search from any of the following areas:
- Dashboard -> Book a Service -> IME (hover) -> Via Appointment Search
- Search Options -> Session & Specialist Search
- Reporting Services -> IME Assessments -> Add New Case (hover) -> Via Appointment Search
- Find an available session.
- Use the filters to only show specialists and their sessions based on service criteria:
- Specialty
- Accreditations
- Location
- Appointment Type
- Sessions are colour-coded by their Appointment Type and Availability Type
- Once the search results are loaded, specialists are broken done into two options
- Specialists Available by Request - don't have any sessions added to the calendar can the provider can reach out and inquire for booking availabilities
- Specialists with Confirmed/Unconfirmed Available Sessions - have sessions added to the calendar (split by month)
- Use the filters to only show specialists and their sessions based on service criteria:
- When found, click on an available session or Request an Appointment.
- Fill in all required information for the new IME Assessment case and select Create to save.
- If an available session is chosen, it will be automatically added into Appointment Details.
- The Case will start with Case Status Appointment Requested or Appointment Confirmed, depending on the session's Availability Type
- Once created, the new case is added to the IME Assessments database and given a new and unique Kawaconn Case ID
