Change/ Reschedule Appointment

Note: For invoicing reasons, rescheduling with the same case should only be applied if no cancellation fee is incurred. If a fee is required, cancel the existing case and use Rebook this Case to copy information and documents from the cancelled case into the new case.


Reschedule DirectReschedule Via Calendar
  1. Click Reschedule Direct.

  2. Change the date and time or location or specialist as required.

  3. Click Save.

Note: Reschedule Direct is only recommended if a definitive time has been established (to avoid clashing sessions for a specialist at the same time) or telehealth details/links.


  • With the same specialist

  1. Click Reschedule Via Calendar.

  2. Click on an appointment you would like to take.

  3. Click Book this session.

  • With a different specialist:

  1. Click Reschedule Via Calendar.

  2. In the box Select a specialist, enter the name of the specialist you want to reschedule the appointment with.

  3. Click on an appointment you want to take.

  4. Click Book this session.



When the appointment is rescheduled, confirmation emails will be automatically sent to the parties who were originally selected to receive the booking confirmation. 

If the appointment is rescheduled with a different specialist, the following notice will be sent out:

  • The current Specialist will receive a Cancellation email.

  • The new Specialist will receive an Appointment confirmation email (if the session is unconfirmed, there won’t be any emails sent out). 

  • The Case Manager will receive a Reschedule confirmation email as usual.
