Specialists - Not Currently Interested (NCI)

Modified on Fri, 16 Feb at 12:25 PM

OVERVIEW

This article covers the functionality of the Specialist's Recruitment Status: Not Currently Interested (NCI).

When a Specialist is listed as NCI, it represents a period of time where a Specialist does not intend to accept any booking requests sent to the provider. Example scenarios can include an extended holiday or not having any capacity to provide medicolegal services.

Applying an NCI status is best fit for Specialists where providers expect them to be be able to provide services again in the future. If it is known that the Specialist will no longer provide services with the provider (for the foreseeable future), it is better to set the Specialist's Account Status to Inactive.

UPDATE A SPECIALIST'S RECRUITMENT STATUS TO NCI

  1. From the sidebar, go to USER ACCOUNTS → Specialists.
  2. Search and open your selected Specialist by clicking their name (blue text).
  3. On the list of (horizontal) Specialist tabs, select Recruitment & Login.
  4. Go to Login Information and tick Yes for field Not Currently Interested (NCI).
  5. Update the NCI Start and End Date.
  6. Save the Specialist User Account.
